Closing the digital divide between online retailers and today’s fast-paced digital marketplace, North East success story Visualsoft take up residence in Newcastle’s Old Casino after record growth over the last 12 months.
From concept to completion, customer experience has long been the driving force behind digital visionaries Visualsoft whose impressive client portfolio has seen them work with businesses across the North East and beyond. Providing cutting edge eCommerce solutions and developing long term relationships with clients has played a big part in helping the company build up a cabinet of awards over the past 16 years for their services to the community, economy and digital marketplace. Having designed eCommerce websites since their very first client came on board in 1998, the decision to diversify and concentrate more on developing the technology behind the designs was one that has clearly helped Visualsoft thrive as the company settle into their new office space in the centre of Newcastle.
Tucked away along a charming cobbled ginnel just minutes’ walk from Newcastle’s Central Station, Visualsoft’s new office on the second floor of the Old Casino on Forth Lane is part of a cluster of heritage buildings leased by North East Workspace who specialise in the conversion and management of historical buildings in Newcastle upon Tyne. Offering employees the best of both worlds; the new office benefits from picturesque views of the city’s magnificent skyline beyond and an open plan office space with exposed floorboards and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. With plenty of room to accommodate new staff, the move to Newcastle complements Visualsoft’s Stockton-On-Tees headquarters and London office perfectly and could be the catalyst that sees the company achieve their ambitious growth plans over the next three years. As Founding Director of Visualsoft Dean Benson explains, ‘as a company, [Visualsoft] are now looking to add to our existing ecommerce partnerships and have ambitious plans to increase turnover three-fold over the next three years.’
Location was an important factor for Visualsoft, whose client portfolio includes businesses based in the North East and across the UK. Being close to major motorways, Central Station and Newcastle airport will be invaluable for the company as they continue to expand – having recently celebrated the launch of their 1000th website. Employee engagement is at an all-time high too after the company introduced unlimited paid holidays, free breakfast and flexitime for all employees in 2014 and now offer them an office space with excellent transport links. The award-winning company is currently actively recruiting for a range of roles within their Stockton and Newcastle offices and look forward to being able to attract talent from more North East graduate pools thanks to their new location.
